Award winner

IPI's Green Faith project was awared a RiverSmart Communities Grant to work with a community in the Washington, DC's Anacostia watershed to design and install stormwater management BMPs includings 2 large rain gardens and other features. Learn more on our projects page!

Lotus and Water Lily Cultural Festival
This annual festival is Kenilworth Aquatic Garden's and IPI's culminating event in which we engage environmental organizations, international/diplomatic partners and community based organizations to engage DC's diverse residents in the diverse ecosystems of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens while learning about global culture. Over the past several years, we've engaged over 20,000 people in this multi-faceted programming that connect people with culture, nature and helps build a global community. Latest project

The 2021 Lotus and Water Lily Festival co-sponsored by the Infinite Possibilities International and National Park Service was virtual  due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Check back for more info on this wonderful partnership which  exemplifies IPI's mission of promoting and facilitating Culture, Nature and Community. The 2019 festival embraced a global theme.
